The Director of Undergraduate Programs of the College of Nursing will provide leadership in assuring the quality of the undergraduate programs of study: RN-BSN and accelerated BSN. This position reports to the Department Chair and to the Associate Dean for Academics for undergraduate program activities.
The ideal candidate will have a previous record of experience in academic leadership roles and evidence of effective leadership, experience in online teaching, positive interpersonal skills and organizational abilities. A demonstrated record of recruiting diverse faculty and students. This individual will also possess effective interpersonal skills. Experience in Responsibility-Centered Management (RCM) at an academic health science center environment is strongly preferred.
Qualifications include an earned master’s in nursing from an accredited institution, a doctorate in nursing or related field strongly preferred, eligibility for South Carolina nursing licensure and a distinguished record of professional, community and university service. Record of research and scholarly productivity commensurate with rank.
