This position is full-time calendar year, Spring 2018, renewable through 06-30-2018 for 2 year appointment, with anticipated renewal. Clinical teaching of family and adult-gerontological nurse practitioner graduate students in various clinical sites in Rhode Island Health Professional Shortage Areas. The clinical faculty, located at Thundermist Health Center and Providence Community Health Centers, will be responsible for delivering direct patient care to patients in their rules as primary health care providers/educators. Serve as preceptor of nurse practitioner students, in accordance with the agency terms and policies. Develop and implement educational programs and on-line learning modules to be used in the clinical education of graduate nurse practitioner students from the MS and DNP programs at the College of Nursing, in conjunction and collaboration with College of Nursing faculty.
