Under the direction of the Operations Director and HVI Dean of Research, provides leadership and oversight of clinical research project(s) with an emphasis on managing the day to day operations of the assigned clinical research staff (i.e. Clinical Research Nurse, Study Coordinators, and Data Managers). Interface with multiple levels of the organization, health system partners and external entities to provide continuous improvement and goals within the research department. Responsible to keep current with Human Subject Protection Training and Good Clinical Practices (GCP) as well as local and federal regulations covering clinical trials. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree required.
RN License required.
5 years of experience in clinical trials research required.
2 years of leadership experience.
SOCRA or ACRP certification required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to track and analyze metric data
Excellent communication skills
Master’s degree preferred
Clinical cardiovascular (inpatient and outpatient) experience preferred.
