The DSCC Bilingual Nursing Consultant provides care coordination services to Spanish speaking families eligible for DSCC Core services within a particular geographic area. The DSCC Bilingual Nursing Consultant provides consultation to other members of the multi-disciplinary team utilizing skills and knowledge acquired from academic training and professional experience as a Nurse.
Provides care coordination services to Spanish speaking families utilizing bi-lingual speaking, reading, writing, and translating skills

The minimum acceptable qualifications for a Bilingual Nursing Consultant are:
Licensed as a registered professional nurse in the State of Illinois.
Two years of public health or specialized nursing experience
