Clinical Instructor (10 Month Appointment)

Salary: Commensurate with experience
Required Qualifications: Master's degree in Nursing, or related field from an accredited institution. Current New York State Registered Nurse license. Current New York State certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Advanced clinical practice experience as Family Practitioner.
Preferred Qualifications: Earned Doctorate in Nursing or related field from accredited institution. Emerging record of clinical scholarship.
Responsibilities & Requirements: The Clinical Instructor will teach graduate students on-site and distance education modalities. The incumbent will collaborate with faculty in Nursing and other disciplines to advance School of Nursing programs, activities and mission; and participate in faculty governance activities and service within the School of Nursing and the University.
Special Notes: This is a non-tenure track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Anticipated Start Date: 9/01/2017.
