RN Program Coordinator_Nurse Staffing & Support Services
This Program Coordinator RN coordinates the programs and goals to provide efficient operation of the Nursing Float Pool and Support Services across all facility Service Lines in North Texas. Serves as a liaison, educator and partner to the assigned Nursing Float Pool staff. Coordinates staff orientations, learning and development tools, nurse education resources. Coordinates daily activities to ensure maintenance of staff records, program data and files, coordinates services, resolves problems, and improves quality of patient care via the Float Pool resources. He/she will be creative, flexible, adaptable, solutions-oriented, and a team-player with the ability to develop relationships among nursing colleagues of all Service Lines, key business partners and other functional groups.
The Program Coordinator RN job duties include, but are not limited to:
Coordinates and promotes for programs including supervision of all instruction, learning, development, on-boarding and staff orientation
Serves as a liaison among the Float Pool staff, Program leadership, and facility administration
Coordinates the planning and review of the program for each year
Designs, carries out, and reports evaluation of program effectiveness.
Active member of corporate department meetings
