TTUHSC El Paso’s Gayle Greve Hunt School of Nursing (GGHSON) is accepting applications and nominations for an enthusiastic nurse educator with a passion for undergraduate education to join the senior leadership team. A dynamic and creative individual with a passion for mentoring students and faculty is needed to collaborate with community partners in the development of exciting opportunities for undergraduate nursing students.
As a CCNE-accredited up-and-coming school, GGHSON is built on a strong foundation grounded in the tradition of the Texas Tech University System and embraces the changing landscape of nursing education. The school’s unique location provides the opportunity for border health and patient care scholarship as a model site reflecting forecasted demographic trends in the U.S. The school offers a BSN and accelerated BSN program with current enrollment of 285 undergraduate students. The GGHSON is housed in a new 34,000 sq. ft. building featuring state-of-the-art technology and design with ample office, classroom, and collaborative learning spaces. The Assistant Dean will enjoy strong administrative support and access to a comprehensive student database.

Ph.D. in related field
Eligibility for licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas or compact state recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing
Experience in scholarly activities such as publications/presentations or advanced nursing practice
Two (2) years educational administrative experience in a nationally accredited higher education degree program
