Directing the Rhode Island Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Center at Newport Hospital, the RN Clinical Manager provides comprehensive direction and support for departmental goals, objectives, policies and procedures; ensures high standards of cancer care for ambulatory cancer patients; develops and implements budgets and quality improvement plans; and collaborates with inpatient nursing leadership in developing requirements and implementing standards of Cancer Care.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university; MSN or intended acquisition preferred
RN licensure or eligibility to be licensed in the State of Rhode Island
CPR and ACLS certification
3+ years of progressively responsible clinical nursing experience in Oncology
Demonstrated experience in a nursing supervisory or leadership role
Certification in Oncology (ONC) or acquisition within nine months of hire
Human Subjects certification or acquisition within six months of hire
