Post-Acute PT, OT, SLP.
ARC (Acute Rehab Center)
30 beds of inpatient rehab.
Serves multiple diagnoses including neuro, ortho, oncology, amputee, spinal cord injury, transplant, etc. Primarily adults, however see adolescents ages 13+.
Approximately 50 therapy and tech staff at the 2 post-acute units (core and casual)
Highly Collaborative between all disciplines along with MD/Physiatrist, rehab nursing, social work, dietary, etc. with primary goal to get patients home.
All core staff are required to pursue a rehab specialty some of these include geriatrics, neurology, lymphedema, swallow, NDT, etc. This supports a strong learning environment for newer clinicians, students, and lifelong learners.
This position is working 56 hours in a 2 week pay period on the rotating day/night shift, 8 hour shifts and every other weekend. This position is benefit eligible.
Demonstrates Clinical Competence in utilization of FIM Instruments
Works effectively with all members of the interdisciplinary patient care team
Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation principles and supports philosophy of inpatient rehabilitation care
Current Minnesota RN License
Completion of Rehab Nursing Certification within 24 months of hire
BLS (basic life support)
1+ years of RN experience
Experience in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting and/or 1 year rehab nursing experience
