Clinical Research Coordinator II 2 positions available: General Oncology & Neuro-Oncology
We are currently seeking two strong CRCIIs for exciting positions within our sections of General Oncology & Neuro-Oncology. Both positions will coordinate phase I-III consortium-based trials, pharmaceutical trials, and investigator-initiated studies. Our position in General Oncology is focus on pediatric solid tumors, and the position in Neuro-Oncology is focused on pediatric CNS tumors. Responsibilities may include:
Conducting study start-up activities and preparing and maintaining all regulatory documents required by sponsor and/or regulatory agencies.
Preparing protocols, informed consent documents, modifications, renewals and other necessary documents for review by the IRB and/or sponsor.
Coordinating study conduct with other departments to effectively implement clinical research projects; obtaining required letters of support and/or approvals as needed (i.e. IBC, SRC, etc.) and protocol is followed.
Identifying and recruiting eligible study subjects; conducting informed consent/assent process.
Arranging and conducting clinical research visits.
Conducting site qualifications, study initiation, monitoring and/or close-out visits.
Attending investigator meetings.
Functioning as patient liaison for study questions, billing issues, etc.
High School Diploma with three to five years research experience -or- Associate's /two years of College with two to four years research experience -or-Bachelor's with one to three years research experience.
Good clinical practices documentation required.
Knowledge of research regulations (FDA, OHRP, GCP, etc.) preferred.
Familiarity and experience with FDA and IRB regulatory requirements preferred.
