| Position Summary : The Newborn Intensive Care/Nursery Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for an assigned number of clients for a designated timeframe. Provides transition, newborn stabilization and level II Newborn care, as well as well-baby family centered care, to newborns. Provides care using the nursing process, in accordance with policies and procedures, regulatory standards and the philosophy of Hialeah Hospital. Takes Charges and is responsible for orienting new employees. #LI-JJ1
Qualifications:
Position Qualification: (Training, Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities) Graduate of accredited nursing program (AD, Diploma, BSN) Current licensure by the state of Florida board of nursing. Two years level II/III NICU experience preferred.
