Adult Nursing – Assistant or Associate Professor, Tenure Track
Community Nursing and Department Chair – Associate Professor, Tenure/Tenure Track
Community Nursing – Assistant or Associate Professor, Tenure Track
Psychiatric and Behavioral Health Nursing, - Assistant Professor, Tenure Track or Clinical Track (non-tenure)
Applicants for the tenure track positions will have an earned research doctorate in Nursing (PhD), or related field, a Master’s in Nursing degree with clinical specialization. The candidate will have a scholarship agenda focused in one of the following areas, chronic illness, nursing education, family health, global public health, health disparities, population health, informatics, or use of technology in patient care. Applicants must have a successful record of teaching with the ability to sustain a program of funded research, secure external funding, and participate in community outreach. Applicants must have RN licensure in Massachusetts or eligibility for licensure. Additional responsibilities include student advisement and service. Salary will be highly competitive and an appointment with tenure is possible depending on qualifications, experience, and evidence of scholarly accomplishments. The preferred applicants will have an established program of research and advance specialty certification in area of expertise.
Applicants for the clinical track position (non-tenure) will have a clinical doctorate in Nursing (DNP) or earned research doctorate in Nursing (PhD) or related field, with clinical specialization as a Psychiatric Mental and Behavioral Health NP or CNS and APRN license in Massachusetts or eligibility for licensure. The applicant will have 3 recent years of advance practice clinical experience. Applicant will have a successful record of teaching, the ability to sustain a scholarship program, potential to secure external funding, maintain clinical expertise, and participate in community outreach. Additional responsibilities include student advisement and service. Salary will be highly competitive. The preferred applicant will have a NP advanced practice license and 3 or more years of higher education teaching experience.
