The George Washington School of Nursing invites applications for the Assistant Dean for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program. The Assistant Dean for the BSN Program reports to the Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs while serving as a contributing member of the Academic Affairs Leadership Team. The Assistant Dean will assume leadership for overall BSN curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation, assuring quality and adherence to standards and requirements of relevant accreditation and certification bodies, State Boards of Nursing, and other relevant curricular and program standards. This is a full-time (12-month) specialized clinical faculty position operating out of our Virginia Science and Technology Campus in Ashburn. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities include:

Minimum qualifications include: a doctoral degree in nursing; prior administrative or leadership experience in a nursing program; expertise in curriculum development; demonstrated experience implementing best practices related to teaching and learning; at least five years teaching experience at the BSN level; excellent organization and program planning and evaluation skills; experience working with and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment; and eligibility for RN licensure in the District of Columbia and Virginia.
