Community Living Center (CLC) Responsible for the delivery of fundamental, knowledge-based care to assigned rehab patients while developing technical competencies Understands professional practice standards and principles and applies these concepts into rehab practice Possess the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to effectively apply all aspects of the nursing process within a collaborative, interdisciplinary rehab practice setting Effectively implement rehab promotion and prevention interventions, manage acute and chronic illness, and assist rehab patients achieve optimal levels of functioning Completes mandatory and annual competencies for equipment and procedures, adhere to unit-based protocols, maintain a current BLS certification, and work collaboratively with other disciplines in the Medical Center Participates in in-services and performance improvement activities and customer services programs at unit and service line levels Work Schedule: Work Schedule will be determined based on the needs of the Medical Center. The Togus VA Medical Center is an acute care facilities operating 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Tours of duty include day, evening, and night shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.
