Abrazo Surprise Neighborhood Hospital is the first hospital in Surprise, Arizona. Located at the corner of Loop 303 and Bell Road, Abrazo Surprise Hospital will provide emergency and acute care services in an efficient, convenient location along with close coordination with our other hospitals for patients who may require more complex care. Services provided include the 14-bed emergency department open 24/7, Board-certified emergency physicians, 1 operating room, 8-inpatient rooms Laboratory services, Diagnostic imaging including x-ray, computed tomography (CT) and ultrasound, and select inpatient procedures.

We are seeking exceptional Emergency RN's to join our team at Abrazo Surprise!!
Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit.
Coordinates care planning with other disciplines.
Position renders individualized, age specific and direct bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs.
Acts as a supervisor by assessing, planning, delegating and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care.
Systematically evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals.
Participates in hourly rounding.
Observes safety guidelines and safe work practices.
May at times be asked to be in charge for a shift(s).

SPECIAL SKILLS:
Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with team members required. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional periods of above average pressure.
Excellent customer service skills.
Must have basic computer skills.

EDUCATION:
Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school
RN / BSN education is preferred, but not required

EXPERIENCE:
Prefer 1+ years of acute care experience, preferably in an emergency room setting
Certification in specialty area of practice preferred, such as BCEN or CEN, but not required

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/ LICENSURE:
Active License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
Active CPR certification
Active ACLS is required upon orientation completion.
PALS or ENPC required or must obtain within 90-days of start date
