Columbia is the geographic center of South Carolina, with easy access to mountains (two hours west) and nationally recognized beach resorts (two hours east). Columbia boasts a nationally acclaimed library system, highly rated schools, and many outstanding golf courses. Big time college sports abound with two major schools - the University of South Carolina, Columbia, in the Southeastern Conference and Clemson University, Clemson, Atlantic Coast Conference (two hours away). NOTE: First area of consideration will be given to current employees of the Columbia South Carolina VA Health Care System. This is an OPEN CONTINUOUS ANNOUNCEMENT and will remain open until June 30, 2021. The initial cut-off date for referral of eligible applications will be 22 January 2021 (based on vacancies and location(s) to be filled), with subsequent cut-off dates every Friday. Eligible applications received after that date will be referred at regular intervals or as additional vacancies occur on an as-needed basis until positions are filled. The Licensed Practical Nurse works under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) and reports to the primary care nurse manager. The LPN is responsible for observing, recording and reporting changes in the patient's condition, as well as assisting in the development and revision of the patient-driven holistic care plan for life. The LPN is a member of the patient healthcare Teamlet. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 hour shifts, (24/7 coverage. First and second preferences on tours during the hiring phase (by location) and every other weekend.) Financial Disclosure Report: Not required Salary Ranges: - Anderson: $29,570 to $58,964 - Columbia: $30,450 to $58,815 - Greenville: $29,570 to $58,964 - Florence: $30,689 to $57,394 - Orangeburg: $30,450 to $58,815 - Spartanburg: $30,783 to $56,027 - Sumter: $30,864 to $56,175
