This is an open continuous announcement; applicants will be reviewed and referred on a bi-weekly basis; the announcement will remain open until all the positions have been filled. Work Schedule: Various Tours Monday-Friday (7:30am-4:00pm; 3:30pm-1:00pm; 11:30pm-8am; 7:30am-8pm; 7:30pm-8:00am) Location of Position: Downtown Division, Nursing Services Spinal Cord Injury - Various Units Financial Disclosure Report: Not required Duties: The Spinal Cord Injury RN is responsible to the Nurse Manager(s). Functions as an integral member of the spinal cord injury interdisciplinary team and is responsible for accurate clinical assessments, interventions, evaluations and documentation of the medical and surgical patient. Demonstrate an organized and systematic process for problem solving and prioritizing the needed delivery of care. Perform nursing physical and psychosocial assessments, utilizes nursing process to achieve individualized patient outcomes. Perform nursing care related to bowel and bladder management for SCI patient. Direct and supervise Licensed Practical Nurse, Nursing Assistant, and Health Technician. Provide direct care services to a culturally diverse group of patients with medical/surgical and rehabilitation needs through coordination of services within the Medical Center.
