Summary

Patient Care Tech Forensic Unit Pushes and pulls equipment/objects. Patient Care Tech Majority of work is done walking or standing most of day. Occasionally works in awkward, reaching, or strained positions for short periods of time. Patient Care Tech Technical work requires close visual attention. Must have acceptable vision (near and mid range). Pushes, pulls, lifts, carries, and turns patients. Patient Care Technician Requires moderate amount of decision making. Patient Care Technician Requires ability to perform procedures and maintain standards with a high degree of accuracy in observing and recording. Patient Care Technician Moderate mental effort required to check work, observe errors or to decide when to seek assistance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required. One year of higher education or equivalent preferred. Specialty training as a nurses assistant, and/or medical assistant desirable.
• Maintains current CPR card and obtains CPI certification within first 90 days of employment.
• Has ability to follow English written and verbal instructions in order to accept directions from co-workers and speak with patients. Fundamental mathematics.
