Summary

Provides management to the department. In the absence of the Director, fulfills head leadership role.
Typically will have direct reports, but if a one person office it can be a manager.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing and directing efforts of medical staff services personnel in the Medical Staff Services Department â�� Credentialing. Provides management to the department in absence of Director. Oversees initial and re-credentialing of all Medical Staff, Allied Health, and AHPHR Staff at Baptist Health System. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Education

Required: Bachelors degree in healthcare field or equivalent experience; or Associates degree with five years experience

Experience

Required: 5 years experience in Medical Staff, with 3 years in leadership position

Certifications

Required: CPCS. CPMSM within 3 years of hire.
Preferred: CPMSM upon hire.
