The Syracuse VA Medical Center is recruiting for one (1) Full Time Float Pool Registered Nurse. The Staff Nurse demonstrates leadership in delivering and improving holistic care through collaborative strategies with others. The Staff Nurse successfully performs activities appropriate to their grade as outlined in the Nurse Qualification Standards. These Standards identify the educational, experiential and competency requirements for the Registered Nurse at each grade. Male and female Veteran patients of all ages are included in this area of practice. Acute medical, surgical and emergency patients are routinely care for in this setting.
