Geisinger is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience in clinical supervision and teaching to oversee Geisinger's new 2-year social work fellowship program. The program is positioned to become a Graduate Medical Education (GME) supported training program alongside medical and psychology residency and fellowship programs. Fellows in our program have the opportunity to develop clinical competencies across a variety of populations and clinical settings, including pediatric and adult Primary Care Behavioral Health, general outpatient behavioral health, telemedicine, Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), and several integrated medical specialty clinics.
Develop faculty and oversee quality of clinical supervision and teaching
Recruit, onboard, and evaluate social work fellow performance
Coordinate clinical rotation experiences
Partner with Psychology, Psychiatry, and Addiction Medicine training programs to share didactic, faculty, and educational resources
Work with faculty to achieve CSWE accreditation
Engage in clinical supervision and teaching directly with social work fellows

*The program director will have .4 FTE (2 days per week) dedicated to this administrative and supervisory role. The remaining time will be spent in direct clinical practice within their area of expertise.
*Previous leadership experience preferred but not required. Applicants must be licensed or license-eligible in Pennsylvania and have five years of experience as a clinical social worker within the last 10 years to be eligible for this position.
