Position SummaryThe Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will function both as an independent healthcare provider and part of care team while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary pain service. As a member of the care team, they are responsible for providing pain management care (acute and chronic pain) for pediatric patients in an inpatient and ambulatory clinical setting. He/she demonstrates a high degree of clinical expertise in working with patients with pain, including acute postoperative/traumatic pain, chronic non-cancer and cancer related pain conditions.
