DescriptionUNIT DESCRIPTIONThe Transitional Care Center (TCC) cares for a complex, high-acuity patient population. Patients on this unit require high ventilatory/respiratory support (trach/vents; CPAP/BiPAP) while also having other complex medical needs, resulting in interdisciplinary care team approach to their care. There is a high emphasis on patient/family education on this unit, as we are transitioning patients from ICU level care to home and families need to learn how to care for their child's complex care needs in the home setting. SCHEDULE: This is a 0.9FTE, 36 hours/week position. 4 weeks will be scheduled at our Liberty location and 2 weeks at our Burnet (base) location. This position does qualify for the full-time
