Overview: Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's largest and most comprehensive provider of cancer care has an exciting opportunity for a RN Clinician in our SE Division. This position may be scheduled at our Aurora, Littleton, Centennial or Swedish clinics.

Responsibilities: Under general supervision, provides professional nursing care for patients adhering to national and company standards and guidelines for specialty regulations. Demonstrates knowledge of physiological, psychological, and developmental and age specific differences in the patient population including late adolescence, adulthood, middle age, and the elderly. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to provide for assessment and therapeutic management of patient/family needs. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Coordinate patient care • Assist with minor office procedures • Answer and return phone calls (triage) • Assist in patient education • Call in prescriptions and manage refill requests • Call patients with lab results and scan as needed • Assist with symptom management and drug assistance • Assist with home care and other outside services • Complete disability and FMLA paperwork • Act as a liaison between physician and outside resources
Salary Range: $34.00-$43.00

Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred. Minimum of five years nursing experience required, preferably in an oncology environment. Current or pending oncology certification preferred. Experience and knowledge of the purpose and use of medications in the treatment of cancer. RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state. Current CPR certification required. Must maintain continuing education requirements.
