The Salem Virginia VA Medical Center RN is a professional nurse who is primarily responsible for providing an environment for the delivery of care to clinically complicated and severely ill patients with acute and potentially life threatening, general medical, surgical and disease carrying multi-system failure in the adult population. The incumbent is responsible for assuring continuity of care for ICU patients implementing applicable disease management protocols as appropriate. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
