Caldwell UNC Health is the choice for health care in Caldwell County. The Emergency Department sees approximately 30,000 visits a year. Caldwell Physicians provides the majority of primary care and select specialty care to the market from eleven separate medical park locations. The 137-bed hospital is a member of the UNC Health System. Caldwell is seeking a Pediatric NP or PA for a position in a busy Pediatric Care Urgent Care practice with a team of experienced partners.

• One hour-and-ten-minutes travel time each to: Charlotte Douglas International Airport; the eclectic attractions of Asheville; the arts and history of Winston-Salem; and only 20 minutes to the North Carolina High Country and the mountain seasonal resort community of Blowing Rock.

Practice Highlights:

• Two women and children traditional practices provide a steady patient base.
• Busy mature practice needs one Pediatric NP or PA in a replacement role.
• Location- The Falls Pediatric (4355 Hickory Blvd. Suite 3 Granite Falls, NC 28630)
• The Falls Pediatrics Hours- 8 am to 7:30 pm, Monday through Friday & 8 am to 4 pm, Saturday and Sunday

Education Requirements:
* Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
* Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) in the state of North Carolina. Board certification if required by the Department.
Professional Experience Requirements:
* No prior experience required.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
* Demonstrated clinical competency. Effective leadership skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills. Effective interaction to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting. Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing.
