Position Summary: Free Standing Clinic, with 50 person staff. The RN Clinic Manager- MMA (I) functions in a multidisciplinary, collaborative environment, utilizing critical thinking skills to interpret complex information and guide patient populations and families to health and well-being. This nursing role will provide direct oversight of all daily clinic operations and is responsible for ensuring all nursing, clinical support staff, physicians and advanced practice providers maintain ethical, professional, service and regulatory standards. Using the Nursing Process, this role provides nursing assessment, diagnosis, education and provides compassionate clinical excellence in the care of patients, while serving as the clinical role model and resource. The RN Clinic Manager goals will align closely with those of the Regional Manager-MMA while being the present and accountable leader to transform the vision and goals into action. Work situations are frequently non-routine requiring a broad vision of evidence based practice and the future of the health care industry while providing hands-on assistance with clinical duties as needed. Decision making is required in the daily routine of this position and requires organization, discretion and a service oriented professional manner. Competency in change management and performance improvement is required as well as possessing basic knowledge for business, revenue cycle, and healthcare operations.
Minimum Requirements: 3 years of nursing experience in clinical or hospital setting required 2 years of leadership experience in the healthcare field required; preferably in ambulatory operations Consideration may be given to internal candidates not meeting the minimum qualifications
Education/Licenses/Certifications: Bachelor's degree Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
