JOB SUMMARY:
The RN House Supervisor at Hampden will exercise delegated administrative responsibility and authority for the supervision of all hospital personnel and functions within the assigned work unit/location for their assigned shift. They will serve as a leader and resource person in facilitating efficient operational activities throughout the organization and serve as a leader to support hospital administration, while on duty, to provide staff and patient problem resolution and answer any policy related questions that may arise.
House Supervisors must demonstrate excellent judgement and analytical ability to oversee hospital operations and patient placement while on duty and use critical thinking skills to assist health care providers in their delivery of care by utilizing available resources to provide safe patient care.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
Associates Degree required
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by the state of employment required.
Two (2) years related experience.
BLS required prior to orientation completion.
