UCHealth has an excellent opportunity for a Hematology/ Oncology NursePractitioner or Physician Assistant to work for UCHealth Cancer Center andHematology Clinic in Colorado Springs.

No evenings, weekends, or call required.
* Our Team - Is cohesive, collaborative, and provides a warm patientexperience. The team includes 11 physicians and 5 Advanced Practice Providers.
2+ years of Hematology/ Oncologyexperience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is preferred.
Thepay range for this position is $49.86/hour - $69.12/hour. Pay is dependent onthe applicant's relevant experience.
Requirements for NursePractitioners
* Master's degree in Nursing and graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitionerprogram.
* Nurse Practitioner Certification issued by the American Nurses CredentialingCenter (ANCC) or Nurse Practitioner Certification issued by the AmericanAcademy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board.
* Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license issued by the State Board of Nursingin the state of practice or compact privileges under the multi-state NurseLicensure Compact agreement.
* Unrestricted medical staff membership, with appropriate practice privileges.
* Full Prescriptive Authority is required.
* Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe allmedications commonly prescribed in the course of practice.
* Eligible to provide reimbursable services and maintain provider status withMedicare and Medicaid.
* Eligible to provide services with no sanctions or exclusion from either theHHS/OIG or the General Services Administration's (GSA) List of Parties Excludedfrom Federal Programs.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association or theAmerican Red Cross.
Requirements for PhysicianAssistants
* Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
* Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State ofColorado.
* Physician Assistant Certification (PA-C) issued by the National Commissionfor Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) is required for hire and mustbe maintained throughout employment.
* Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe allmedications commonly prescribed in the course of practice.
* Eligible to provide reimbursable services and maintain provider status withMedicare and Medicaid.
* Eligible to provide services with no sanctions or exclusion from either theHealth and Human Services/Office of Inspectors General (HHS/OIG) or the GeneralServices Administration's (GSA) List of Parties Excluded from Federal Programs.
* Unrestricted medical staff membership, with appropriate practice privileges.
* Prescriptive authority as appropriate, per medical staff service privilegingprocess.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)Certifications issued by the American Heart Association or the American RedCross
