Our Scottsdale Urgent Care is looking for a clinical nurse for 12 hours a week!!! This unique urgent care offers shifts in the evenings, from 5 PM - 11 PM, and weekends, 12 PM - 12 AM. Incumbent will work a combination of one or two weekday shifts, and/or one to two weekend shifts depending upon needs of the clinic and availability. A great opportunity to pick up some extra shifts, keep up to date on nursing skill set, and/or work in a pediatric environment!!! Position does require a minimum of one year experience working in a critical care environment, either clinic or hospital.
This position, in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient, and family, coordinates and promotes patient health utilizing evidence-based practice in the delivery of professional nursing care across the care continuum. This position advocates for the patient and family adhering to nursing and medical plans of care, regulatory standards, and organizational values.
Education
Two year (ADN) degree in nursing, a four year degree (BSN) in nursing, or a Diploma Nursing degree. (Required)
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or currently enrolled in an RN to BSN program. (Preferred)
Experience
Pediatric experience. (Preferred)
Certifications
Current State of Arizona RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges or the ability to establish licensure according to Arizona law prior to start date. (Required)
Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association. (Required)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) certification may be required within 90 days of entry into the position for select departments. (Preferred)
