Shift: Shift 1

Summary:
Administers and evaluates the operation of the nursing unit(s). Assigns duties to unit personnel based on patients' needs and staffing availability. Reviews patient care goals and reinforces understanding of disease, medications, and self-care skills.

Education:
* Bachelor's degree required.
Essential:
* Graduate of an accredited nursing school (AD in Nursing, RN Diploma, BSN or MSN).

Experience:
Essential:
* Five years of related acute care experience including leadership.

Credentials:
Essential:
* Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or holds a multi-state nursing license; or able to obtain license prior to start is required.
* National Certification in Area of Specialty.
* Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
