Ohio State's College of Nursing ranks in the top 16 nationally in National Institutes of Health funding and invests in building innovative, multi-disciplinary research teams that can effectively and creatively address the nation's most pressing health and healthcare challenges. Our faculty conduct research across a variety of healthcare, community- based, and educational settings, and manage active, funded research programs through our two research centers: the Martha S. Pitzer Center for Women, Children and Youth, and the Center for Healthy Aging, Self-Management and Complex Care. The Pitzer Center faculty have active federally-funded programs of research in the areas of maternal/infant health, women’s health, cancer prevention, control and survivorship, care of children and infants with complex health needs, pediatric obesity and pediatric health services research.
