The Director of Advanced Endoscopy is responsible for directing nursing care and all related clinical activities of the endoscopy, pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative clinical areas, according to the policies, procedures, philosophy and objectives of the Endoscopy department.
Required Experience:
Five years work experience in Endoscopy, strong skill set & knowledge of Advanced Endoscopy processes and procedures. Three years of management experience required.
License/Registration/Certification:
Current license from Texas State Board of Nursing Examiners required.
Current CPR Training Program.
Certification for Gastrology Registered Nurse (CGRN) or Certification Endoscope Reprocessing (CER) or Certified Healthcare Leadership (CHL); or obtain within two years of being in the position.
Education and Training:
BSN Required, Master’s degree in Nursing Business, Healthcare Administrative, or related field preferred.
