Seeking an experienced RN or Nurse Coordinator to support our Liver and Kidney Transplant Teams. This role involves working with primarily outpatient teams and collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team. Must have an Arizona RN license or a compact license with the ability to obtain one within 90 days, current BLS and at least a BSN. Candidates will have at least 3 years of clinical RN experience, with transplant and pediatric experience preferred. Strong communication and critical thinking skills required. Schedule is Full time Monday-Friday and flexible if 4-10’s if preferred. No weekends, holidays or call. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in our pediatric patients lives. The Clinical Transplant Coordinator (CTC) is a Registered Nurse (RN) and a designated member of the transplant multidisciplinary team with primary responsibility to coordinate and ensure continuity of care for transplant candidates, recipients and their families throughout all phases of care (referral, evaluation, waitlist, transplant surgery and post-transplant).The CTC partners with the members of the multidisciplinary team including, but not limited to physicians, surgeons, nurses, social workers, pharmacist, nutritionists, financial coordinators and administrative personnel.
Education
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). (Required)
Experience
Three (3) or more years of clinical practice and leadership experience. (Required)
Two (2) or more years of solid organ or bone marrow transplant experience. (Preferred)
Certifications
Current State of Arizona RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges or the ability to establish licensure according to Arizona law prior to start date. (Required)
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. (Required)
