JOB SUMMARY
Performs hospital infection control surveillance to identify actual nosocomial infections, clusters, and outbreaks; develops,
reviews and implements improved patient care practices for all hospital departments as related to infection control
practices; conducts in-service education programs to maintain a high level of infection awareness and prevention and acts as
liaison between the Infection Control Committee and all other departments of the hospital . All activities will be performed in
support of the strategy, vision, and values of Phoebe. Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign
