We are seeking a Specialty Nurse for the Solid Organ Transplant team. The Specialty Nurse is responsible for an area of specialized nursing practice and provides direct and indirect care to patients and their families in the inpatient, ambulatory, and outpatient settings. The specialty nurse utilizes the nursing process as a basis for providing and evaluating nursing care by applying knowledge of growth, development, pathophysiology, and family dynamics. The specialty nurse will support solid organ transplant recipients throughout the continuum from evaluation, listing, transplantation, and post-transplantation.
