Employees are hired to help Adventist Health System extend the healing ministry of Christ. GENERAL SUMMARY:
Provides direct and indirect patient care in the medical clinic setting. Communicates with Medical Practitioners/Coworkers as appropriate about changes in patients clinical condition, including diagnostic studies and symptomology. Can respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, can perform general nursing duties with adequate supervision.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provide direct patient care in the clinic setting
· Handle patient phone inquiries
· Assist providers in hospital setting
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
· Demonstrate appropriate documentation skills
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· Successful completion of an accredited practical nurse program
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
· Maintains professional licensure of a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Kentucky
· Maintains CPR certification
